Find out if the machine has really hung or not :-) When you press Caps
Lock, do the keyboard lights change? Yes
Press Control-Alt-F1 -- this will hopefully give you a text-based
login prompt, you'll need to provide your username and password again. This gives me a Text page asking for passwords, when I put them in it says password incorrect.
I usually don't use passwords as I am the only user, but install wouldn't move on until I put an entry, I think I may have had finger problems and entered something different to what I wanted.
