I can't recommend any book, but there are a couple of bookstores I think are worth checking out:<br><br>- Dymocks, corner of Willis St and Lambton Square.<br>- Capital Books, Featherston Street (not sure of the number).<br>
- Borders, Lambton Quay.</blockquote></div><br></div>The Wellington Public Library has a surprisingly huge selection of computer books. I find it best to borrow before I buy.<br></blockquote><div><br>I had a look at the library's computer section a couple of weeks ago, and what they have is generally pretty out-dated. If you're looking for introductory Linux books that cover aspects that haven't changed much (BASH, GNU tools in general etc.) then it's probably worth a look.<br>
