Hi,<br><br>I can't recommend any book, but there are a couple of bookstores I think are worth checking out:<br><br>- Dymocks, corner of Willis St and Lambton Square.<br>- Capital Books, Featherston Street (not sure of the number).<br>

Can you recommend any good Ubuntu books and Wellington book stores? You<br>
know, real paper? (I've got Wiley Publishing's Fedora 5 Bible by Negus,<br>
and it sucks. The index at the back is useless half the time. Many<br>
important topics aren't covered. etc.)<br>

I'd like something that ranges widely, from step-by-step on the install<br>
and package setup, including compiling a source code for the first time,<br>
through discussion of repositories and dependency hell, to root-level<br>
commands in the bash shell.<br>

Or what I need is 2 or 3 different books, attacking the different aspects.<br>
<br>
Any ideas?<br>
