Create a device block myself with mknod and add hdc=cdrom in the <br>grub menu? Last time a new update just made it to come back to life.<br><br>I could probably update to a newer version (still ubuntu feisty), but I would have to go back to the pain of resintalling googlearth and skype and other flash stuff, driver for the broadcom 4311 etc... and it would be a SUSE distro anyway.<br>So a quick fix would be a good idea.<br><br>Any advice ?
