<font face="Arial">I bought the 4315 with ubuntu pre-installed. Still
works really well but had a few issues to work through manually one of
them being the wifi which requires madwifi to be installed after
disabling the proprietary drivers. In general though I've been really
happy with it. I suspect the successors you mention here will have
similar teething (but easily solvable) issues.</font><br>

I'm honing in on these because a couple of laptops sort of similar to
these were found to be pretty compatible with some Ubuntus sort of similar
to Hardy Heron.
If any of you have had experience (trying) to install Ubuntu 8.04.1 on one
of these two models, or can find a compatibility report about such a match
that ISN'T written in German or French, I'd really appreciate hearing from
you ASAP.
