Eventually I managed to get the module ndiswrapper loaded by default at
boot.<br>
And it worked !!!<br>
Stabel, speed is fine too .... can't complain.<br>
The kids now have their own PC.<br>

The WG311 is based on the ACX111 from Texas Instrument.
There is actually a sourceforge project for that, but the documentation is either made
for martians or people from another world. I have not spent much time on it either I

I went straight to ndiswrapper, at least I know that the card is working.
I have not ifup.down under Zenwalk for wlan0.
Anyway I tried again the
iwconfig wlan0 essid Frogs
Still no modif..
Same for acces point, can't change it ...
however I could change from "restricted" to "managed".
I just don't get it....

I am sorry to say that you have hit the end of my ability to help here:
I know zero about zenwalk, so can't suggest what tools or diagnostics
would help.
If you are getting any error messages from either the kernel or the
tools then feel free to post them, but otherwise I have to hope someone
else can help you out.
