Hello guys<br>
Thanks for that, went to the Bios gazillion of times changed everything
that was possible, this is doing nothing. At best the guy who wrote
that has been lucky on it.<br>

My machine has a triple Raid0 of 500 G each and one 320 for the OS /
temporary storage. At worst I was up for a reinstall on Os disk.<br>
<br>
So ... eventually fixed it up.... By doing an updating of the system
with the SUSE 11 disk. There is a nice toolbox for fixing up MBR and
other grub stuff.<br>

The all story started by a reboot and a kernel message about edd. After
WAAAAAAAYyyyyy too much time waiting the edd stuff, I just tried to
reboot in Failsafe (edd off) to edit menu.lst.<br>

Bad luck .... grub error 17. <br>
<br>
How a system that is supposed to be so nice can still have problems
like that... I cant believe it. I am not sure what edd is about, but
forums are talking about regression in that case !!<br>

I tried super grub disk ... did not do anything. Went direct ly to the
trash<br>
