Once there, open up a terminal and run the fsck - don't go resizing partitions etc as there's no need.<br><br>What's on /dev/hda1 - what filesystem is it? If it's not / or similar, it might be better just to add the 'single' option to grub, drop to a shell and run fsck without the CD (although I'm not totally sure Ubuntu does that like Red Hat).<br></john.modec@xtra.co.nz></div></body></html>
