Hi Daniel<br>
I have a laptop screen from a Presario that spat the dummy after 2
years of moderate usage<br>
and was looking for some options to reconnect the screen to a mini ITX.<br>
I found some LVDS/PCI connection cards on the net but no idea about
efficiency / reliability etc ...<br>

Since almost every laptop in existence uses LVDS, quite well. Like the other
connection types, it just works(tm).
However, I don't think you are asking just because you have a laptop with an
LVDS connection, so I am presumably missing *something* in what you are
asking.
