Joined this list after drawing a blank trying to find
cost-effective support in Wellington. We have a Linux
environment with samba, firebird SQL server. <br>
A few PCs & laptops connected, XP or Vista. <br>
<br>
Our long-standing tech support guy can no longer work on this
for us. We require some maintenance, software updates, user
rights changes, mappings, testing, a new server and some new PC
gear. I also want a cost-effective contract for online backup
services and on-call tech support for the future.<br>
<br>
I simply can't find anyone in Wellington prepared to touch the
Linux environment - at least smaller companies. I can pay the
earth for some large organisation with much nicer offices than
ours but I really can't afford it - I'm busy trying to grow a
small business in tough times. <br>
<br>
Someone suggested to me that this list may have suggestions on
who can help. Any ideas welcome.<br>
