Incidentally, be aware there's a further caveat with Grub2 if you have a<br>
machine with a manufacturer's recovery partition. By default, when you invoke<br>
the Grub2 installation script it scans all bootable partitions and<br>
automatically adds them to the boot menu *including* the recovery partition.<br>
The labels Grub2 provides don't always make it easy to distinguish this from<br>
your primary Windows partition, so you can end up inadvertently selecting the<br>
recovery partition option and "restoring" your machine to factory specs.<br>
