Both of these modules are Broadcom drivers. Of course you need only one,<br>
but Mint for whatever reason is loading in BOTH.<br>

Based upon my previous experience with 4311 and 4312, I am going to<br>
recommend b43 as the proper driver.<br>
<br>
To test this theory, try this:<br>
<br>
sudo modprobe -r brcmmac<br>
sudo modprobe -r b43<br>
sudo modprobe b43<br>
<br>
and see if your wireless card starts working properly. Do not reboot or<br>
anything like that; just give it a test run, browse some sites such as<br>
<a href="http://straightedgelinux.com" target="_blank">http://straightedgelinux.com</a> , <a href="http://slackermedia.info" target="_blank">http://slackermedia.info</a> , and<br>
<a href="http://gnuworldorder.info" target="_blank">http://gnuworldorder.info</a> and see how it works for you.<br>
<br>
If the results are positive, we can create a blacklist file such that<br>
even upon reboot, bcrmmac (the presumed 'bad' driver) is never loaded again.<br>
<br>
