Good idea, but I'd prefer something less formal and more versatile than a
theatre. a "normal" room, with whiteboard, tables/chairs, etc would maybe be
more useful, presentations, workshops, help sessions etc.... Tho we may need
our own screens, etc. Comments???

I'd be surprised if we regularly got many more than 10 -20 at any regular
presentation evening. A lecture theatre is perhaps a bit ambitious.


Has anyone ever tried running a WEA type course based on OO rather than MSO
suite? Give people a CD with the software & use it to show
WP/Spreadsheet/Presentation fundamendals? Get someone like DSE as a sponsor &
run it for free???

This is also sort of a logical follow-on/extension to the installfest.
