Sounds like a good idea.

Means I would subscribed to 3 lists, but who cares.

Jeremy, can we do this?

As an outsider, I also had my fears about this. The feeling I was
getting was something along the lines of 'oh no, this group is falling
apart'. It seems as if the quarrels are coming to an end, though.

This is exactly the kind of thing that caused the 'split' of other LUG
lists which I belong to. Not a split as in 'fork', though. A split
between technical discussions and 'chat', as they call it. Often what
I'm seeing now is that lists split in two - one list would be called
e.g. wellylug-tech (Technical Discussions / Issues) and the other
wellylug-chat (Discussions, Chat and Trivia). That way, those that only
want to be involved in the technical side of things need only to
subscribe to the relevant list and they will be 'shielded' from all the
rest of it.

Just a thought that the WellyLUG admins could consider. It works
extremely well at keeping the peace, IMHO.
