Hi All...

I am thinking about writing to Shane to express our thanks to him for
letting us use LanPlace and also to ask if we may have access to the
CityLink FTP server (ftp.citylink.co.nz).

Yesterday evening before the LUG meeting I was over at CityLink's
TeleHousing facility. Simon (from CityLink - looks after the FTP server) has
very kindly agreed to host the ISO's that were on our caddy hard-drive.

This is what I written so far. Please feel free to make comments.

I plan to e-mail this to Shane by the end of the week.

LanPlace provides the perfect location for our monthly meetings with the two
large screen data projectors and plenty of seating.

Linux Kernel mirror server (ftp.nz.kernel.org) which is kindly hosted by a
local company - Catalyst.Net Limited.

CityLink kindly hosts around 27GB of Linux ISO's that we as a group have
collected together. Due to a member who kindly donated a hard-drive for this
purpose asking for it back, we had to find another means of sharing these
files around when needed. A CityLink staff member (Simon) kindly offered us
hosting as part of the CityLink FTP server.
