Unless anyone disagrees with me, I'm happy to stick with Mandrake9.2. The goal
is ease of use & stability for an installfest, not latest bleeding edge. 10.0
won't hit the stable level for a while yet. While we may get asked for copies,
I don't wanna try to install it. If someone comes woth a box & their own copy,
I'm not sure where we'll hide though :-)

As mentioned before, I'd like to include PCLinuxOS, the Mandrake 9.2 based
LiveCD as well, I've had this install on boxes where Knoppix failed (generally
graphics driver probs) & vice versa, so it does provide some security that we
have a working LiveCD. Subject to input from others????

Question:

Does anyone have any concerns about me contacting the LinuxShop, regarding
getting some of their commercial Mandrake (powerpack/manuals?) stuff to sell on
behalf at the installfest?

No guarantee they'd be interested, but having the install with proprietary
drivers for modems & graphics cards, etc, may be appropriate for some. The
manuals are not competition for Dymock's as they don't sell them. (No replies
will be taken as a go for it :-)
