is what Damon alludes to, that email divorces the human aspect,
particularly body language, and everyone relies on body language (yes, even
geeks).

Doesn't always work of course... On some lists I've seen thermonuclear war
raging over a subtle remark that would have been acceptable in person...
smileys just don't cut it sometimes.
