A friend of mine (web dvpr amongst other skills) has been using Linux
(currently Gentoo) for a few years. He's also a keen gamer & until recently
has
also been running Windows for game compatability.

He's recently dropped Windows altogether, as he's has had pretty good
success
getting most Windows games running under Linux.

I wondered if it would be worth asking him to do a "Linux gaming"
presentation
at one LUG meeting?

This could include a demo of multi player games under Linux if anyone is
interested?


I know at the 'fest we talked about a presentation about games under Linux,
but
didn't find anyone willing to give one, as there didn't appear to be a lot
of
gaming members, so this might add someting new to the LUG range of
interests....
