This is mearly one definition, the common definition is any unrequested 
emails. Surely it would make more sense just to link to these 
'guidelines' from the website and perhaps just send a link to them once 
a month rather than a huge email that people aren't even going to bother 
to read.

To me the LUG is everything a LUG should not be, so I guess I will have 
to look elsewhere for help and support with Linux and other things 'geek'.
