I agree it'd be a good idea to announce it to the main list.

But I also think it'd be a very good idea to wait, at least, until after
the April meeting before announcing it.  Otherwise people will get
confused about which meeting it is and/or forget about it.

Somewhere around the start of May is probably the right time to announce
it.  Anyone more keen than that will have seen it on the website anyway.
