[wlug_org] Asterisk + VoIP + Meeting..

Hello,

I know the next meeting is about VoIP, but I am not sure if someone 
planned to bring in an Asterisk box to demo after the talk or not, or if 
it will be part of the talk.

I have a box that is currently sitting, semi going, I mean semi, because I 
cant use it at the moment, due to every time the phone calls out, the 
asterisk box pick's up the call thinking it's an inbound one, but that 
will hopfully change when I get some VoIP hardware.

And I think it's only because the analog phone is attatched to the "Phone 
IN" of the FXO card.

I am more than happy to bring in my box to set up, and have people call it 
with Linphone or whatever after the talk if that is accectable for people, 
and it also gives me a chance to talk to experts on how to configure a few 
things on it..  I do have an altera movtive there :)

I brought my FXO card from a member of the LUG group, who got it from 
Digitnetworks, I went to their site to look up how much a Analog > Sip 
converter was, and saw that they have dropped the price of the Analog 
Interface cards from like 35US to 29US..

I assume that there might be some intrest sparked after the talk for lug 
memebers who want to purchase such a card -- I know I would like to 
purchase a Analog To SIP converter from them for my cordless phone.

Does anyone know if anyone in the group has a US bank account - or is 
going to the US and can pick up the order :)

Just some random thoughts.
