I think this would be a great idea.

I'm not yet sure what will be brought in for the VoIP/Asterisk talk, but
even if there's phones/an asterisk box/etc brought in, it'd still be
good to have another one there.

FWIW, I'd not consider trying to arrange a group purchase advertising in
itself.  But it'd be good to keep "promotion" of whatever product you're
trying to "group buy" to a minimum (eg, a URL to it).

Also IIRC there's someone in Auckland importing the Digium cards, and I
believe trying to get them telepermitted as well.
