[wlug_org] Does anyone else find the attitude to that new user

We aren't a "disciplinary" body for WellyLUG, I think it inappropriate to
start complaining about someone behind their back (in fact you might be
complaining to their face as there is nothing to stop them participating
here).
As one of the few people to ever offer an apology (one that I don't think
was actually required :-), I don't think you can complain about Johns
conduct (assuming that is who you are talking about). If anything, I think
we should be apologizing to John. Go back and read his posts, you'll find
he has been polite throughout (I think at one point he missed a pile of
replies and some took that as ignoring their advice).
I think people need also to be careful about assuming 'new to Linux'
implies 'new to computers'.
Anyway if in doubt, assume there's a smiley on the end of peoples posts,
and don't get hung-up on peoples 'attitude', everyone I've every met from
here is much 'nicer' in person :-)
