I don't personally believe we should have an NZLUG. Half the reason for
this is I don't see what it will do than duplicate bits of other regional
LUGs - for example, the membership, by the fact (by definition) the
catchment area for NZLUG encompasses all the regions.
Other people have made the point that "if it is to continue to exist, it
should offer as much as it can" - it already has a mailing list and a web
site, which (along with the Auckland debacle) has been enough to keep it
alive until now. Someone else suggested adding a wiki, as those are flavour
of the month. That's where we came in.
When those archives are available you'll be able to see just how contentious
"what should NZLUG actually do?" has become.
