[wlug_org] The Future of NZLUG is in your hands...

a really smart idea is to get someone outside of Aucklug/NZlug to
organise the transition......Otherwise it's just another case of the
cellmates running the prison.

Ask Mark if they're open to that and you'll get a measure of how serious
they are.

If they're up to it then I'd propose a posting to all lugs asking for a
volunteer each to form a national team to manage the transition. If that
could be achieved then you're on the way to actually having a useful
national representation. But if you can't get past that hurdle then any
hope of forming a useful nzlug is probably doomed.


Depending on Mark's timing I might be available to offer an opinion, but
time really is a premium these days.
