Thanks for adding this to the web site Jethro.

Update:

Venue is Silicon Systems, Petone on 24 Sept.


My suggestions below, any problems/issues/concerns let me know:

 setup from 09:30 & open at 10:30, first presentation at 11:00
 tea/coffee & maybe some bites (last yrs $$ for nibbles ??) 
 DSE prob OK again but yet to confirm.
 Dymock's confirmed regarding books for sale (& zip zap VISA)
 Novell confirmed as supplying copies of SuSE 9.3.

  So far I have no-one offering any other distro CD's, if you wanna install a  
  distro, please find yourself the disks. I'm happy to demo & burn PCLOS CD's
as   
  required on the day. We don't have a sponsor for burning/printing CD's/DVD's


  As far as presentations go:
    I'll do a What is Linux/OS software & a Wgtn Linux GIS one
    Michael Dittmer was going to give one,
    Any others welcome. 
           Something like Carl's one of last year would be good, & perhaps one 
           on Linux gaming?


& on a related note, I'll see if I can get a stand or summat outside Dymocks on
Sat 10th, Software Freedom Day, where we can support Dymocks, publicise the
'fest & support SFD. Does anyone have a laptop I can use for this?? Wanna help
with this??
