[wlug_org] Request for copies of Open Suse and/or SLED for 2006 Wellington LUG Installfest

Just to keep you all informed (& prove that I have not been totally inactive-
just uncommunicative!)


My thoughts re the msg below....

If Novell can have someone for a 30-40 minute presentation on SLED, Linux &
Novell, it may be useful.

Before I meet to discuss with them, are others here happy if Novell up's their
involvement? Speaker likely to be Andreas.

If we are focusing on (k)ubuntu, then 30 copies of SLED may be excessive, but
I'm loathe to send them away. 

As far as a flyer goes, Joel has agreed to do an A3 SFD poster with a bit to be
filled by LUGs running associated installfests, which can go up in local DSE
stores, & elsewhere.

Also working on a5 flyers which can be taken, also at DSE counters & computer
shelves. If we do have Novell involved, then adding this to the flyer adds a
bit of credibility, & may help with publicity from computer magazines etc as
well.


If anyone can help put an a5 flyer together PLEASE contact me asap!!!
