Hi Jethro,

as discussed around 7AM on a chilly morning at Kilbirnie Woolworths,
I'm keen to help out at InstallFest'06.

The reason is simple. I got into Linux by going to (I think) one of
the first SLUG InstallFests and never looked back. I think it's one of
the best ways of getting people over the shock of installing something
daunting and unfamiliar, although Ubuntu has now made that much easier.

I'd strongly recommend using Ubuntu this year.

I have not done a new install for a while but it's not difficult
to get your head around, especially with support available. I might even
learn something new.

Cheers,

Adam Bogacki,
