Gidday....

Just to confirm, as discussed on Monday at the LUG meeting...

Venue is Silicon on 30th Sep.

They are happy to provide one site with internet access, with the others being
on a local subnet.

They will provide 3-4 boxes for demos, so we can have Ubuntu/Kubuntu/SUSE(?) &
an MS Windows box for us to set up Firefox, OO, GIMP, Scribus etc, to show OS
without Linux.

They are also happy to provide a box for the demo installs (as am I) & can set
this up a few days early so we can ensure things work OK. (I think their's
should be OK with Linux, but I _know_ mine will be :-)  

NOTE: the projector is likely to get confused during this, as the installs
start with one resolution, then change.... which projectors are not really
built to handle. We'll do what we can, but running a couple of screens to watch
may be preerable?? (Any comments?)

I've still to catch up with Dymocks, Novell & DSE, will let you know when I
have....
