NZOSS != NZLUG.
And NZLUG is not all that different.
Nor is AuckLUG, and due to their shared history, both lists run basically
the same AUP.

I have openly supported the concept of 'doing as the host wishes'.
However the very function of the _org list is surely to facilitate
discussion of the very policies that the host 'wishes' and that become
defacto policies through the agreement of members of _this_ list.
You can remove the word 'enforcement' and insert the phrase 'attempted
policing' if you like. I'm talking about the fact that a few of WellyLUGs
vocal participants obviously have very strong feelings relating to policin
the WellyLUG mailing list 'to the letter of the law' as it were, and that
this is counter-productive. By extension, perhaps that 'law' needs
revision into something whereby its enforcement is less counter
productive?
Mark.
