[wlug_org] Lower Hutt meetings now at Weltec, Petone

Hi everyone,

The promised change in venue is now confirmed. Daniel received an email with
the details today.


We will now be meeting in a classroom (C203) in the Petone WelTec campus.

C203 is in C block.... before someone asks :-)

Meetings will start at 7:00 PM, as previously, but we need to leave by 9:30 PM,
as the buildings & rooms are locked by 10:00 PM.

We will still be meeting on the 4th Tuesday of the month, so the first one
there will be on March 27th (If I have my calender straight!)

There is a fair amount of on-street parking handy, & the PDF has suggestions
for anyone needing public transport, although at that time of the day/night if
anyone needs a ride, just ask on the list (well in advance :-)



I hope this has some positive spin-offs, in that we may have WelTec LPI & other
computer/IT students being encouraged to attend, another possible venue for
classes & installfests, and perhaps arrange a room on the Wgtn campus for Wgtn
meetings. Assuming all goes smoothly...
