Yeah - I tried that one. If you can come up with a project that uses the
kernel but no GNU software, you'll have more weight.

Actual "LUG" events are out. He will not attend LUG meetings. Which kind
of clears the itinerary. If a LUG wants to organise an event, you'll have
to be very laid back about how the LUG name is associated with it.

He only puts up with me and "HBCLUG" because I'm a stickler about the
expansion and he's been convinced that I've made an effort to find
someplace to put that stray "G". He doesn't want a cosmetic change -
though, you could just write me and point out that you *are* a GLUG in
fact if not in name and that it is high time for a name change...
implement the change in anything promoting the talk etc. Dunno what we can
do to verify sincerity, but if it passes RMS then you're in.

Meantime - just organise the talk through someone else, so it's their name
on the promo.
