[wlug_org] Wellington Ubuntu Gathering PLEASE HELP

Hi guys,

Sent a massive email through before, got denied. Joined the list now though.
And ill try keep this quick.

Basically Im trying to find or set-up some sort of Ubuntu group in
Wellington.

Any interest or advice would be appreciated, esp in terms of the state of
interest in Linux and Ubuntu in Wellington.

Anyone willing to assist with technical support, some info on how
installfests have been run in the past and how they could relate to a
new Ubuntu crew would be greatly appreciated.

I live in Wellington City very centrally and can use my workplace as a venue
for a meeting depending on display of interest. Would be interested in
forming some sort of organisational crew to oversee this and any future
projects related to Ubuntu, or meet them if a crew already exists.

Have already contacted the NZ ubuntu mailing list and had a few positive
responses. Not entirely sure where to go from here, what network to use
etc...

Even if youd just turn up once its already organised or want to tell me to
give up now, any contact is appreciated.
