Cheers :-) I'm looking at www.linmodems now, and I don't think mine
will work. External modems cost $150, so it's not to bad if i sell the
old one.
Don't knock the books though, some of them are pretty good, and for a
total newbie are a huge help in getting started. (Like showing me how to
create files, set up XFree and explain why Linux has SO MANY sodding
files everywhere... The sheer size of the file system was kinda
daunting...)
