Hey,

well as long as we all bring what we have and manage to get there it will be fine.

The hub I have is an 8 port hub - we can either pre assign IP's in the 192.168.1.x
range or demonstrate the functioning of dhcp and why its a really good idea :)
for both winxx and linux/unix

I will make a name server work for the network and its a bit of editing to set
up so would prefer to stick with the 192.168.1.x range whether static of dhcp.

infact if ppl wish to set up their machines before hand start at .10 and work up
I will move the dhcp range higher up starting at say .50 - I doubt if we will
have that many machines that congestion will be a problem

please bear in mind hat I may have to go to auckland and so miss the meeting
in which case it would be worth someone else bringing a hub as well just incase.

I am also happy to talk about a little ip networking stuff if ppl are interested,
