Hi guys,

I'd quite like to see a threaded discussion forum online, I know linux
forums are out there but It sure would be nice to have our own
welly one.
I'd be more then happy to help with the lugs web site and helping with
stuff like that since I'm a web site developer designer by trade.

I for one wouldnt like to see PHP discussed for a long while, If I wanted
to talk PHP I would have joined a programmers club.
If we're talking about learning how to install php on a linux box that I
can deal with, otherwise count me out for that one :)

I'm particularly interested in networking and site hosting but
am just not really up to that stage yet.
Setting up apache and samba and that sort of thing are still way over
my head. I'd like to cover that but not untill we are all at a more equal level.

I dont think directory structure will take the whole meeting so I'd like
to suggest we go though some basic practicle tasks like zipping and
unzipping files, learning how to set up stuff like sendmail and procmail -
Learning how to install fonts and uninstall them and perhaps how to set up
printers etc.....

How does that sound guys - an hour on directory structure then an hour on
the above????

Well thats my speil so I guess I'll catch ya'll later!!!

Thanks guys,

Dan.
