I agree that this does indeed sounds like a wonderful idea and is the
sort of thing I had in mind when we set up the group. With a move toward
much shorter presentation times we can perhaps accomodate both scenarios
- a short (about 30 - 45 min) presentation followed by the general time
for people to have there PCs there, get help with problems, show what
they've been able to do etc.

We have access to several tressel tables and theer are a gfew power
points in the room (from memory - but if I not I can always bring along
power boards and extensions) so I think that we might be able to 'kill 2
birds with one stone' as it were and have both types of meeting format
work together - especially given that one of our main goals for this
year is to reduce the length of any presentations to give more 'hands
on' time.

Whats are your thoughts on this? Do you think we can meet in the middle
and get both things working?
