I live in Raumati South......but I do have a room at the back of my garage
with a couple of power points. It could handle maybe 6-8 people  for a small
meeting if there were people at the north end of the region who wanted to do
something.

I've been to one meeting in Johnsonville.

I prefer a practical meeting where we can bring a PC and mess around with
stuff....like Gimp, or CD burining, or using a scanner, or a digital
camera.....or setting up some tricky video cards........or how to set up a
simple web server...or firewall.......or security basics......or maybe just
play some linux-based LAN games for an hour or two.

I'm not overly interested in formal presentations.

But if there is something there for everyone....then all would be involved.
