Seems to point at the CD drive (even tho it works fine with RH)
Do you have a plain ol CD ROM (rather that a writer) you could try?
I don't know what brand drives the machines I put together had, but they
were something cheap, not writers
Could you not sell your customer on the merits of Red Hat?
