[wellylug] ftp connexion refused

Hi Edouard, 

Connection refused can mean a few things.  First thing to check is your 
/etc/hosts.allow 
and 
/etc/hosts.deny 
files

if in doub't, to check that it is that, change, the line in hosts.deny 
ALL:ALL... comment that out

then make sure that hosts.allow has a line it in that is 
ALL:ALL


you will also need to make sure the wuftp is running.
it probally means you need to make sure that
/etc/xinetd.d/wuftp 
has disable=no  in it.  
(you will need to edit this file with a text editor to change it if has 
disable=yes in it)

after doing that, make sure you restart xinetd.d  
(/etc/rc.d/init.d/xinetd restart)
