Yes, these wouldn't be as easy to configure on a Debian system.
I have an ex-somecompany Compaq P133 lying round at home, I'll try
Mandrake 8.2 on it tonight and see how usable it is.
- Money to buy a powerfull server
If having a server means you can help people quicker, then over time it
would be worth the initial investment :-). But your right though, a
server would cost an arm and a leg if they are expecting the hardware
for free.
