[wellylug] A little project.... : The pragmatic approach

We seem to largely agreed that Linux is not ready for this project, that
Windows is more reliable and more manageable for both users and IT support.
However, there a couple of risk takers who want to give it a shot. I would
like to join with the latter group. I know a phone box we could use for
meetings. :-)

However, if there were more than three of us, I have a work site we can use
on the weekends. Should be able to set up to 10 pc's at a time, web access,
and under cover. :-)

Perhaps we could meet and see if we know enough to proceed. We need pilot
an install in a similar spec PC. Sat 3 August at Rongotai. 0900. Lets see
what we can do? We don't need to move until we have confidence in both
Linux and ourselves.
