If we don't do it the we ...

1) Don't learn from the process
2) Don't further grow the Linux installed base

On the other hand if we do too much there may been insufficient skilled 
people to 'help out' or too greater strain on the few who are willing.

I would hate to give in and not do this, but we do need to think about 
these valid issues that are raised.We must grow the linux skills in this 
country piece by piece. Open Source is an evolution not a revolution. By 
doing projects like this we are simply speeding along that evolution 
(hmmm.. sounds like marketing from Ximian).

My opinion is to give it a crack. If it doesn't work out they can always 
fall back to MS.
