[wellylug] Coyote and 3Com 509 cards

Try booting up with only one card, and then install the second next time
around, oh and by the way, make sure pnp os = yes in the bios first (that
is if coyote uses plug and play auto config).
I am assuming that the cards don't have allow manual jumper settings.
NB I have never used coyote, but if it uses a boot manager like lilo then
if you have used 3C5X9CFG.EXE to manually set the io port and irq then you
will have to specify them as boot parameters, which I would imagine coyote
would let you do.
If all else fails get yourself a different brand second card.
