[wellylug] Re Gnome Applet - Pager

Couple of days ago I emailed to see if anyone had any problems with
Gnome 1.4 pager applet. The problem is still occurring, so did a error
through bugzilla.gnome.org. For info the call was unable to be resolved,
but, here's the details....

Successfully logged into Gnome environment added pane. Logged out and
logged back in again under Gnome. When I go to login under Gnome it
tells me I'm not running a Gnome desktop even though I am running Gnome
1.4 (with a PII 686 and 64m RAM). Unable to find a blow-by-blow
description from the system log (as I have only been using Linux for a
short while.....)

Unfortunately, this stack trace is not very useful. However, we
appreciate the effort. Thanks, and please do submit another trace if
you find another crash. [Sorry this is such a bad way to be introduced
to linux :)

Thanks anyway... am now going to try Gnome again, but will probably
have to kill the gnome-session pid if it hangs....

Even if it is a bad intro to Linux.. it's still a lot better than a
system we use at work that comes from Redmond! :)
