The main thing to realize is that any distro (and even windows) can be
hard to install if you don't know what you're doing. Last night
Ricardo got his video, sound, modem, dvd watching, office tools,
internet, cd writer, security updates and more all set up (on a laptop
too). This was possible because I helped him, and I know how to
configure these things using the graphical tools and what to do when
they don't do all that is necessary sometimes. All in all, it didn't
take long. Windows can sometimes take a lot longer to set up than that,
especially on newer hardware.

Mandrake has a few rough edges, but basically the graphical tools work
very well most of the time, with faults sometimes, and occasionally not
well at all. Experience helps a lot in getting them to work.

Is that legal? I doubt the Lycoris code is GPL'ed. If it's not, you
may be breaking the law. Who knows. That's one powerful reason to use
a distro like Mandrake or Red Hat, which are based on the GPL.
