If you're using Gnome then under Applets | Network you'll find "RH PPP 
Dialer", which puts a shortcut button on your Panel. Once you've got it 
there, you can right-click, select Properties, and untick the 
confirmations on connect and disconnect. Then connection is a single 
click away.
