Yep,
I have a Celeron 1.2Ghz Tualatin with SDRAM, it will outperform a 1.7Ghz P4 Celeron with SDRAM on just about everything.
The P4 Architecture requires massive memory throughput to work well, the 128k L2 cache just isn't enough leaving the CPU
spinning its wheels and getting nowhere fast.
The same holds true for the 2.4Ghz P4. The 533FSB has a significant performance boost over the 400FSB running at the same 2.4Ghz speed
