Hi guys,

This is what the file says.

NETWORKING=yes
FORWARD_IPV4=false
HOSTNAME=http://www.xtra.co.nz
DOMAINNAME=xtra.co.nz
GATEWAY=172.17.100.2

So, yes Damon you are correct.  Hostname and domain name incorrect and 
also no DHCP hostname (if that is needed).

Thought about (very briefly!!!) trying to alter this using the 
instructions you gave me last night but far too difficult!  :-)

I  guess you'll know how to fix this now.  Actually I can see why Linux 
users like it because once you identify the problem you have ways of 
getting to the real basis of it.  Once you know what you're doing of 
course.
