[wellylug] RedHat 8.0 update problem

What is your partition layout?

I think if you can boot a single user mode off cd (or floppy or
whatever) have a crack at running /bin/fsck.ext3 . If that fails, then
err, sit down, make a sandwidch, and go back to square one...
